Corrosion Engineer
Role Purpose:
- Determining corrosion failure mechanisms;
- Reviewing metallurgy of static equipments;
- Development of RBI inspection plans;
- Performing root cause failure analysis;
- Review of original construction details (Materials and Heat Treatment) for suitability with current process conditions;
- Diagnose and solution for the inadequate material selection in the design and building of the Plant;
- Technical knowledge in corrosion and materials;
- Capacity to anticipate threats/opportunities and to display preventive solutions to the problems of corrosion and materials and advantage of opportunities.
Person Specification:
- B.Sc. Metallurgical engineer;
-Extensive knowledge in corrosion engineering (internal/external, design engineering, corrosion monitoring, corrosion control, corrosion assessment, etc) and/ or as a material specialist;
-Has a minimum 10 years experience in handling corrosion in the oil & gas industries (engineering or operators). Experience in furnaces is a significant advantage.
Competency Requirements:
- Delivery-focused, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks;
- Takes decisions to ensure achievement of goals and targets;
- Organised and proactive. Takes personal ownership of targets;
- Knowledge in corrosion integrity management and other discipline interfaced with corrosion ;
- Understand of safety requirements in O&G industry;
- Familiar with applicable international standards & code related to corrosion & engineering such as NACE, API, ASTM, etc.;
- Strong computer literate and able to manage field corrosion team.

岗位职责:
1. 测定防腐失效机理;
2. 评估静态设备的冶金;
3. 风险基准检验计划的开发;
4. 进行根源故障分析;
5. 审查原始结构细图(材料和热处理)与当前工艺条件是否适宜;
6. 诊断和解决设备设计和建造中材料选择是否合适;
7. 掌握材料和防腐相关的技术知识;
8. 有预测风险和机遇的能力,能表现出对防腐和材料问题有预防措施并且把握时机。
任职要求:
1. 理学学士,冶金工程师;
2. 对防腐工程有丰富的经验(比如国内外的工程设计,防腐监控,腐蚀控制和腐蚀评估等相关经验)或者是一位材料专家;
3. 在石油和天然气行业至少有十年处理防腐的经验(工程师或操作员);
4. 有锅炉经验的优先考虑。
能力要求:
1. 能专心有序地处理好复杂的工作;
2. 采取决策保证目标和任务的实现;
3. 有组织性,有积极性;
4. 了解防腐相关管理并能处理腐蚀相关的问题;
5. 理解石油气体工业的安全要求;
6. 熟悉相关防腐工程(如NACE,API,ASPM等)适用的国际标准和代码;
7. 很强的计算机能力并能带领一个防腐的团队。
